Actor, Millie Bobby Brown portrays 16 year old Enola Holmes, the youngest sibling in the famous Holmes family. She is extremely smart, observant, insightful, and an independent thinking young woman, she defies the social norms for women in her era. Having lost her father at a tender age and her two brothers( Mycroft and Sherlock) leaving home to pursue their various careers, she is left in the care of her mother Eudoria. she is home schooled and trained by her mother on a wide range of skills which is not exactly considered “Lady like” in their time, but eventually turn out to be useful later on in the movie.

Enola wakes up one morning and discovers her mother had disappeared without a trace, only leaving partial clues behind and a package for her daughter. Now the search for her begins as Enola takes it upon herself to find her mother. She channels her inner investigative spirit on her quest and although faced with a lot of challenges on the way, her strong-willed & survival nature pushes her through-As she finds her purpose in life in the process.
